An Innovative Approach to the P
roduction, Co-ordination and Distribution of Reports Across Multiple Organisations.

More detail by way of an example.

A county Music Service provides tuition as an agency to many schools and runs several specialist Music Schools. The teaching team is made up of a number of section leaders as full time staff and some 40 part time staff. The management team consists of Head of Service, section leaders and an admin team.

Before the end of an academic year the service teaching staff need to produce a report on each student's progress which should be included in a school's annual pupil report. The reports have to be checked and approved by the management team before being released to the appropriate school.

At any time, peripatetic staff can login to this system and create / start a report form a standard template (previously created by admin / management). The report is kept safe on a remote server and can be accessed at any time. There is no need to save to disc or upload or e-mail it. Once the report has been written it can be flagged as ready to be proof -read. Each report will have a status flag to indicate it has been accepted or needs re-editing or is published. Once published it cannot be edited further although management level access can un-publish reports for further editing by the author should the need arise.

Both management and admin team have access to reports and can add notes, edits and control a report's status. Once a report is ready its status can be set to published. This enables a logged in school to access the the report for viewing and printing. The system manages which school has access to which report and so there is no co-ordinating or sorting to do.

Other features: - Spell checker built in - standardised format via template setup - multi-level security.
